Pastor & Family
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the pastor of Riverside Independent Methodist Church. I am very humbled and honored to serve the Lord and the congregation of Riverside during this time of my life.
I am not a typical pastor’s kid. In fact, I was not born or raised in a Christian home. However, I am a living testimony of the wonderful and saving grace of Jesus Christ. In 2005, I finally surrendered my life to the Lord and committed to doing His will. I felt called into the ministry and personally decided to enter college to fulfill that promise. In April of 2011, with a lot of hard work and prayer, I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Wesley College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Pastoral Ministries.
While attending college, I served in several capacities including children’s ministry, youth ministry, and associate pastor. For the past seventeen years, I have been actively involved in missions in Belize, Central America. For the first thirteen years, I participated in construction work projects, which included building three churches, two school additions, and several roofing and maintenance projects. Since 2007, I have been leading youth mission work teams in doing both home and foreign mission trips. Missions, at home and overseas, are very important to me because I feel it is our calling as a Christians.
Together through prayer and hard work, we can serve the Lord and do as He commands in Matthew 28:19-20 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Working together is what makes Riverside a church that is not just in the community, but is an active part of the community. We would love to have you join us for worship at Riverside, where we believe you will feel like you are finally home.
