Not forsaking the assembling

of ourselves together, as the

manner of some is; but

exhorting one another: and

so much the more, as ye see

the day approaching.

How To Receive Eternal Life

Realize Your Condition: First you must realize that you have broken the law of God, which is called sin. The Bible says in Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,"which makes everyone guilty.
Because we have sinned against the law of God we will not only experience a physical death, but will expereince a spirital death as well. The spiritual death is an eternal seperation from God in which we will suffer punishment for our sins.
However, God does not wish to punish someone for eternity, therefore He has provided us way to be forgiven of our sins and escape eternal punishement.
Jesus said when we realize we have sinned, we must do two things: Repent & Believe (Mark 1:15)

Repent of Your Sin: You must turn away from your sinful ways completly. This does not mean you trun away from some sins and not others, it means you must trun away from all sins that break Gods law.
In order to turn away from sin you must confess you have sinned. John 1:9 states, "We aknowledge that we have sinned against Him and are guilty of our sins." There is no way you can remembr every sin and confess them, but you can aknowledge to God that you have sinned and He will be the one who decides what a sin is or is not.

Receive Jesus as Your Personal Savior: You have realized that you are nothing more than a sinner, have confessed that you are a sinner, and now you must receive Christ as you savior.
Paul explains in Acts 20:21 that we must trun to God and believe upon Jesus Christ through faith to receive forgivness. In order to do this, you must believe in Jesus when He said "I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father, but by me." (John 14:6)  Acts 4:12 makes reference to fact that Jesus is the only way to receive salvation and it is our belief in Him that we know we are saved. In being the only way you aknowledge the truth of John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son the whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life."

If you have never recived Christ as your personal savior, there is no better time than the present. There is no neeed to seek out a preacher to help you do something that only you yourself can do through this simple prayer:
Father, I now that I am nothing more than a sinner and with out you I know that I can expect nor deserve nothing more than eternal seperation and punishment from you. I ankowledge that I have sinned against you and your laws and I confess my sins before you now.  I believe that Jesus, your only Son, was born of a virgin, lived, and died among men through death on the cross for my sins. That on the third day He arose from the grave so that I may have eternal life through only Him and His sacrifice. Father please forgive me and restore in me a new lifeand give me the grace and strength to walk with you all the rest of my days as your child. It is by faith that I believe, trust, and rely upon Christ as my savior and thank you for forgiving me. In Jesus name, Amen.

If you have received Christ as your personal savior, you must now walk as a new spiritial child of God. You must read your Bible daily for strength and guidance in order to live the Christian life in this broke world. You also must find a Church to help you in your spiritual walk and become a member of teh Body of Christ. (the Church)
